Why the rush?

Why the Rush? Did you ever observe how much time you will save by speeding at 60 or 70mph in a 45 zone? With all the traffic that stops you, you might save just 5 or at the max 10 mins by the time you reach your destination.  Now, you might think you are an exceptional driver and you can handle it. But driving is not about you.

Defense driving is the best option as there are so many others on the street who just started driving or might have been driving for a while but still don’t know the rules that well or cannot focus well on driving as they are having a bad day or texting while driving etc etc. Yes, there are so many others who might not be as capable as you are but have to drive as it’s a necessity. They might come in your way and both of you might not be able to control, ending in a disaster. Sometimes innocent bystanders or someone in your way who is happily driving home can be affected too.

Now tell me - does it matter if you are a good driver? No. You might end up injuring/killing yourself or someone else. Yes the other person might be more responsible for this. But in the end, does it matter really? So drive in peace, within the speed limit. If you have that adrenaline rush go to a desert. But don’t scare someone else. Don’t be responsible for someone else’s loss.
